About The Role

Days of Working: Variable upon business needs

Working Hours

As a Car Park Attendant, your main duty will be to staff the car park kiosk, greet and direct visitors on arrival at the car park and dispense appropriate information regarding operating hours, take payment and if appropriate offer alternative parking locations. You will also be required to carry out housekeeping duties such as litter picking of the car park ensuring it is maintained in a clean condition and maintaining the cleanliness of the car park kiosk. You will be the first contact with visitors to the castle and excellent customer service skills are required. A flexible approach to work is required as additional cover will be required from time to time.

The main duties and responsibilities of the role are to:

  • Lock and unlock the car park at the designated times.
  • Assist and advise the public and visitors with their parking needs.
  • Deal with queries and resolve problems.
  • Efficiently operate and use car parking systems.
  • Housekeeping duties to maintain the condition of the car park.
  • Ensure a professional image is always presented.
