About the Role
Working Pattern: 4 on 4 off 20:00 to 06:00
As Train Cleaning Supervisor, you will ensure that cleaning staff perform their duties efficiently, maintain high cleanliness standards, and contribute to a safe and hygienic environment.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising a small team of train cleaning operatives.
- Conducting cleaning audits on a nightly basis to ensure that standards are being maintained.
- Ensuring the interior of trains are cleaned to the required specification, in accordance with Health and Safety compliance.
- Carry out delegated cleaning tasks in accordance with agreed procedures which includes litter picking, removing unauthorised stickers, cleaning and replenishing toilets, and ensuring all surfaces are free from any obvious marks, staining & smearing.
Ideal Candidate Criteria:
- Right to work in the UK.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise as well as be flexible with working hours and days.
- Excellent communication skills.
