About The Role: At OCS, our cleaners play an important part in providing safe, clean environments in which our customers can thrive in their workspaces. As Cleaning Area Manager, you will ensure that cleaning staff perform their duties efficiently, maintain high cleanliness standards, and contribute to a safe and hygienic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a small team, including rosters, holidays, performance, and delivering training to all cleaning operatives with accurate records.
• Conducting cleaning audits on a weekly basis and escalating any areas of concern.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
• Role may require use of heavy industrial equipment, specialist chemicals and working at heights.

The ideal candidate

• You must have Right to Work in the UK.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
• A background working in cleaning/food manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
• Willingness to work at height.
• COSHH and IOSH trained desirable.
