Hours per week: could be 5.30am - 9.30am or 12.30 - 16.30 or 5.30am - 16.30pm (4 hours a day)
Overall Purpose of the Role: To ensure that staff are collected and transported to and from their place of work. All specialist tasks are completed in a timely manner in accordance with the onsite schedule.
Main Responsibilities:
- Driving: To ensure that each vehicle is checked, and defects documented daily, and to ensure that each repaired vehicle is logged back into service. To organise the most efficient and effective way of transporting staff to and from their place of work. To ensure the safety of all travelling in the vehicle β check that the staff are either seated in an OCS vehicle seat and is wearing a seatbelt. To report all Accidents / Near Misses. To keep the vehicles clean and tidy internally and externally.
- Cleaner: Working as a member of the team, you will be responsible for completing cleaning functions, as directed by the appointed supervisor to deliver a high standard. The main purpose of the cleaning operative is to work well within a team, clean and maintain cleaning to the high standards required by our customers. Always being in a clean and neat uniform. Always working in a safe and effective manner, in line with the training that you have received in your induction. To check with my supervisor if I am unsure on how to do anything. To be polite and helpful to all people that I meet. Respond to requests within agreed time scales and procedures. To maintain the standards of my work to appropriate levels. Ensure all my cleaning products as well as the cleaning cupboard is maintained to high standards at all times. Ensure all machinery will be in a safe working order when I use it. Perform any ad-hoc duties requested by my supervisor or Site Management. At no time are telephones to be used for personal use.
