Are you an experienced leader in offshore engineering, ready to take complete responsibility for engineering, maintenance, and asset integrity on complex offshore sites? As our portfolio expands to support long-term FPSO and FPU operations—especially Operations & Maintenance—we’re seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager. In this role, you’ll offer strategic leadership and technical oversight across FPSO/FPU activities, focusing on safety, reliability, and optimal performance throughout each asset’s lifecycle.

This is a crucial leadership position, accountable for developing engineering strategies, ensuring effective maintenance, maintaining regulatory compliance, and leading multidisciplinary teams in a high-stakes offshore setting. You’ll manage client interface, reinforce asset integrity, and make sure engineering results align with operational, contract, and business goals. If you have strong technical expertise, demonstrated leadership skills, and a practical approach to navigating offshore engineering challenges, we’d love for you to apply.

OCS Services is a leading provider of Operations & Maintenance, Asset Integrity Management, and Integrated Crew Management solutions to the global offshore energy industry. Established as a joint venture between Planet Energy and BW Offshore, OCS supports long-term offshore production assets across Singapore, India, UAE, Brazil, Côte d’Ivoire, and Nigeria. We are driven by four core values: Trust, Driven, Care, Innovation.

What You Will Do

  • Provide overall leadership and governance for all FPSO engineering disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, structural, marine, and integrity.
  • Define and deliver engineering and maintenance strategies aligned with safe, reliable, and efficient asset operation.
  • Ensure asset integrity management, inspections, and reliability programs are effectively implemented and continuously improved.
  • Oversee planned and unplanned maintenance activities, minimizing downtime and optimizing resource utilization.
  • Ensure Safety and Environmental Critical Elements (SECEs) are identified, maintained, and assured in line with performance standards.
  • Provide technical assurance and compliance, ensuring adherence to Class, Flag, statutory, and international offshore standards.
  • Review and approve Management of Change (MoC) proposals, technical deviations, and major engineering decisions.
  • Interface with Client, Classification Societies, regulators, vendors, and contractors on technical and compliance matters.
  • Collaborate with Operations, HSE, Projects, and Supply Chain to ensure integrated, efficient delivery.
  • Provide engineering input to budgets, long-term plans, and performance reporting.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop engineering teams, building a strong culture of safety, performance, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive innovation and improvement initiatives to enhance reliability, cost efficiency, and operational excellence.
  • Champion of nationalization and people development initiatives, where applicable.

What We Are Looking For

  • 20–25 years of experience in offshore Oil & Gas, EPC, or FPSO/FPU environments. Strong O&M asset experience is preferable.
  • Strong background in FPSO engineering, maintenance management, and asset integrity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline (Master’s degree or professional certification is an advantage).
  • In-depth knowledge of offshore regulations, Class requirements, and industry standards.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams in high-risk offshore environments.
  • Strong decision making, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Strategic, pragmatic, and delivery focused leadership style.

What You Can Expect

  • A senior leadership role with end-to-end responsibility for FPSO engineering performance.
  • The opportunity to influence long-term asset integrity and lifecycle performance.
  • Collaboration with experienced offshore professionals in an international environment.
  • A strong safety culture built on integrity, accountability, and operational excellence.
  • Exposure to complex offshore assets and continuous improvement initiatives.
