The Regional Safety Manager provides independent leadership, assurance and oversight of Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) standards across the business. You will be covering the Oxfordshire region with a few days in the regional office and the rest out covering projects.

The role ensures compliance with Group policies, legal requirements and critical risk controls across operations and projects. Through audits, inspections and proactive engagement, it drives a positive safety culture, strengthens accountability and supports continuous improvement in safety performance and operational standards.

The Duties:

  • Promote, implement and enforce Group SHE standards, legal requirements, client standards and internal procedures across all operations and projects, holding management accountable for compliance and critical risk controls.
  • Drive a strong Safety First culture through visible leadership, setting expectations from pre-start to project completion, and challenging unsafe behaviours or substandard practices.
  • Ensure effective planning, set-up and control of projects to achieve right first time delivery and consistent application of standards.
  • Act as Critical Risk Lead for designated high-risk activities.
