An established and highly respected contractor is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of complex construction works across London and the South East.
This role would suit a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor with experience in demolition, civils, or groundworks, or someone from a main contractor background who has worked in a self-delivery environment.
The Role
Reporting into the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for the full commercial lifecycle of projects, including:
- Cost management and financial reporting
- Procurement of subcontractors and materials
- Valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Contract administration under NEC and/or JCT forms
- Working closely with operational teams to maximise value and control risk
About You
To be considered for this position, you will need:
- A commercial degree (Quantity Surveying or similar)
- Proven experience in demolition, civils, or groundworks, or experience with a main contractor delivering works in-house
- Working knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts (openness to either is welcomed)
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced delivery environment
