An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading specialist contractor to deliver a large-scale Demolition and Enabling Works project in Central London, valued at up to £20 million.

This is a key position offering the chance to take full ownership of a flagship project from pre-construction through to delivery. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in planning, programming, and managing all on-site activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the project through pre-construction, planning, and delivery phases.
  • Manage and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance across all operations.
  • Maintain control of budget, programme, and quality targets.
  • Produce progress reports and manage risk effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders.

About You

  • Demonstrable experience managing demolition or enabling works projects up to £20m.
  • Strong technical understanding of demolition methodologies and temporary works.
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage projects from inception through to completion.
  • Relevant qualifications such as SMSTS, CSCS (Black Card), or degree/equivalent in construction management or civil engineering.
