A requirement for a Senior QS on a flagship project being undertaken for TFL at Cockfosters Depot, as part of the Piccadilly Line Upgrade. The Senior Quantity Surveyor is required to support the delivery of a Transport for London (TfL) NEC3 Option C Target Cost Design & Build project involving the construction of a new wheel lathe facility. The role will involve commercial management of civils and fit-out packages with a combined value of approximately £6m within an overall project value of £32m.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Commercial management and administration of civils and fit-out subcontract packages
  • Supporting the Commercial Lead with cost reporting and forecasting
  • Management and assessment of change control and compensation events under NEC3 Option C
  • Assisting with procurement and tendering of remaining work packages
  • Cost management, valuations, subcontract administration, and final accounts
  • Working collaboratively with project delivery, design, and client teams to ensure commercial objectives are achieved

The project has approximately 18 months remaining, requiring a proactive QS with strong NEC contract experience and infrastructure/building project knowledge. You will ideally have circa 8 years' experience.
