The Senior Quantity Surveyor is required to support the delivery of a Transport for London (TfL) NEC3 Option C Target Cost Design & Build project involving the construction of a new wheel lathe facility. The role will involve commercial management of civils and fit-out packages with a combined value of approximately £6m within an overall project value of £32m.
Key responsibilities include:
- Commercial management and administration of civils and fit-out subcontract packages
- Supporting the Commercial Lead with cost reporting and forecasting
- Management and assessment of change control and compensation events under NEC3 Option C
- Assisting with procurement and tendering of remaining work packages
- Cost management, valuations, subcontract administration, and final accounts
- Working collaboratively with project delivery, design, and client teams to ensure commercial objectives are achieved
The project has approximately 18 months remaining, requiring a proactive QS with strong NEC contract experience and infrastructure/building project knowledge. You will ideally have circa 8 years' experience.
