This is an outstanding opportunity to join a well-established Tier One main contractor with a strong presence across the UK and Ireland, now expanding its London commercial portfolio with several major projects due to break ground in 2026. As part of a dynamic and collaborative commercial team, you’ll be at the centre of complex schemes ranging from large mixed-use developments to state-of-the-art educational and residential projects—each offering the chance to influence commercial strategy, mentor junior staff, and play a pivotal role in shaping project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full commercial lifecycle on multi-million-pound projects, from early cost planning through to final accounts.
- Manage procurement, tendering, and subcontractor evaluation to ensure value engineering opportunities are maximised.
- Produce accurate monthly cost reports and forecasts, providing clear insight to project leadership.
- Build strong working relationships with site teams, design consultants, and client representatives.
- Oversee and support the development of intermediate and assistant QS team members.
- Ensure all commercial activities align with industry regulations, contractual obligations, and internal financial controls.
