We are currently working in partnership with a leading main contractor, renowned for delivering high-quality, large-scale residential schemes across the UK and Ireland. Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join their team on a flagship residential development in East London.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established contractor on a major project, where you will play a key role in the successful delivery of a complex residential scheme. You will be part of a highly experienced site team, with clear opportunities for progression into management roles.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate site engineering activities across the project
- Ensure all works are carried out in line with drawings, specifications, and programme
- Oversee setting out and quality control procedures
- Support the Site and Project Managers in day-to-day operations
- Coordinate with subcontractors and ensure work is delivered to the highest standard
- Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with health & safety standards at all times
- Proven experience as a Senior Engineer or strong Site Engineer ready to step up
- Background working on large-scale residential developments (essential)
- Strong setting out and technical knowledge
- Experience managing junior engineers and site teams
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or related discipline
