An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Engineer to join a leading specialist contractor to support the delivery of a major Demolition and Enabling Works project in Central London. This is a key position offering excellent exposure to complex engineering challenges on one of the capital’s landmark developments.
The Role
Working closely with the Project Manager and wider site team, you will play a vital role in the planning, coordination, and technical delivery of the project. You’ll be involved from the early stages, supporting design development, temporary works coordination, and ensuring that all engineering activities are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and review of method statements, risk assessments, and work packages.
- Support the coordination of temporary works and structural sequencing.
- Provide technical input during pre-construction and delivery phases.
- Monitor and record site progress, ensuring works are carried out to design and quality standards.
- Liaise with the design team, subcontractors, and site management to resolve technical issues.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all HSEQ requirements.
About You
- Previous experience in demolition, civil engineering, or complex enabling works.
- Strong technical understanding of demolition methodologies, structural sequencing, and temporary works.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering.
