An established Tier 1 civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced EHS Advisor to join their team on the Sizewell Power Station project, one of the UK’s most high-profile, long-term infrastructure schemes. Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of all Environmental, Health & Safety requirements across a complex civils work package.
  • Carry out site inspections, audits, and behavioural safety engagements to maintain best-in-class safety standards.
  • Develop and update RAMS, toolbox talks, and safety communications.
  • Advise site teams on legislative compliance, risk mitigation, and incident prevention.
  • Assist with investigations and reports following near-misses or incidents.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and act as a visible, positive influence across the project.

About You

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in EHS within the civil engineering or heavy construction sector.
  • Strong understanding of CDM regulations and UK construction H&S legislation.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build trust on site and drive safe working behaviours.
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent) essential; Tech IOSH or working toward is highly advantageous.
  • Proactive, organised, and able to support project teams in a fast-paced environment.
