About The Role:

  • Days of working: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 06:00am - 14:00pm

Main Function of the Position:

  • SWC are looking for a dedicated experienced window cleaning operative, to carry out window cleaning tasks which involve various access requirements such as, window cleaning from BMU or MEWP (training provided), or window cleaning via Water-Fed Poles and Traditional methods.
  • To carry out works scheduled by the supervisor or line manager in a timely, safe manner.
  • Use specialised equipment (provided by the company) and techniques to effectively remove dirt, stains, and allergens.
  • Follow established schedules to conduct periodic deep cleaning tasks as per client requests.
  • Respond to various specialized cleaning requests as directed by management or clients, adapting techniques and equipment as needed.
  • Be available for emergency callouts, responding promptly to urgent cleaning needs in various locations.
  • Comply with all Company & Client policies and statutory regulations relating to Health & Safety, safe working practices hygiene, cleanliness, fire and COSHH.
  • Follow client/company guidelines with regards to the identification and reporting of health and safety hazards e.g., blocked/locked fire doors.
  • Report any customer complaints or compliments and take some remedial action if at all possible.
  • Report immediately any incidents of accident, fire, theft, loss, damage or other irregularities to the Line Manager/ supervisor.

You will meet the following criteria:

  • Must have right to work in the UK.
  • You must hold a full UK Driving License.
  • You will have experience in window cleaning and ideally in working at heights and high buildings.
  • You must have the ability to work well on your own, be self-sufficient and motivated whilst also being comfortable working as part of a team and following instruction.
  • Working hours consist of 8 hours working day, typically starting at 6am – 2pm but does vary depending on the site, client and other factors.
  • Some weekend and out of hours availability will be required, which will be pre-planned and treated as overtime.
  • A professional attitude.
