b Overview /b p In this role you will process payroll for a division and assist with others, ensuring accurate starter and leaver data and timely HMRC payments. You’ll provide guidance to employees and managers and support ad hoc payroll projects. You work closely with a fast-paced payroll team to deliver a reliable service that underpins our people and business. This is an opportunity to develop payroll expertise within a renowned facilities management provider and contribute to a smooth, compliant payroll operation. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li Digital Learning via the OCS Academy /li li Wagestream App for flexible pay (contract-specific) /li li Hapi app discounts and wellbeing resources /li li Professional growth with 600+ live learners /li li Inclusive and supportive workplace culture /li li Flexible working options (where applicable) /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Process one division’s payroll and assist with others as needed /li li Verify new starter details on payroll software, allocate tax codes and student/loan plans /li li Process leaver records and issue P45s /li li Ensure timely processing of authorised amendments (holiday, sickness, maternity, paternity) /li li Prepare reports on statutory deductions to third parties within deadlines /li li Provide payroll information and guidance to employees and managers /li li Provide admin support for ad hoc projects and information requests /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Experience in a payroll environment is preferred /li li Basic understanding of PAYE, NI and AE pension, HMRC statutory payments (maternity, paternity, sickness) /li li Knowledge of Student Loans, rewards and benefits (desirable) /li li Minimum 5 GCSEs including English and Maths /li li Working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook (including v-lookups and pivot tables) /li li Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment /li /ul ul li Attention to detail /li li Can-do attitude and flexibility /li li Willingness to learn new skills and systems /li li Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables) /li li Word /li li Outlook /li /ul
