About The Role:
To support in the successful delivery of Facilities Maintenance contracts, across the Central Belt (Scotland). As a Mobile Plumbing & Heating Engineer, you'll support in all FM related works with a bias towards Mechanical Maintenance across a variety of sites, including healthcare and education settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- To plan, inspect and carry out reactive repairs or preventative maintenance as required and to respond to breakdowns in a timely fashion.
- Ensure all delegated Reactive Works orders and PPMs are completed within budget and to the required quality standards and contract-defined time SLAs & KPIs.
- Carry out Planned Preventative and Reactive maintenance works, ensuring work is carried out to the correct specification and with the highest quality.
- Provide quotations for any works recommended.
- Take responsibility for ensuring that a safe system of work is followed prior to the commencement of the work activity.
- Ensure that sites are kept to the highest standards, to ensure all works are completed.
- Provide a callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota.
Essential Hiring Criteria:
- Applicant must have the right to work in the UK.
- Must have a current, valid driving licence.
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing.
- Gas Safe Qualified (Commercial gas Safe).
- Commercial gas qualifications preferred.
- Sound knowledge of understanding and developing safety documentation to ensure site safety procedures are always followed.
- CSCS Skills card or equivalent qualification.
- Able to work On call.
- Understanding of First Aid.
- IT Literate - Basic understanding of Excel & Microsoft products.
