The main purpose of the role is to ensure the safe transfer of Passengers with Restricted Mobility (PRM) through the airport terminal in a timely manner, providing mobility assistance and enabling passengers to enjoy all aspects of the airport experience. We are looking for a customer focused and friendly individual to join our team of workers and help create a memorable experience for every visitor to the airport. This position will be trained and Multi-Skilled to drive varied vehicles within the airport to aid the passengers' transportation.
Main Duties:
- Meet and greet arriving/departing/transferring Passengers with Restricted Mobility (PRM)
- Communicate effectively with the passengers and staff
- Assist Passengers with Restricted Mobility (PRM) at drop off/pick up points, airline check-in, airport security and pre-boarding aircraft
- Transport passengers within the airport using varied vehicles
- In a safe manner, assist in the transfer of passengers from aircraft to airport terminal using various equipment
- Comply with all Health & Safety regulations
- Use company equipment responsibly ensuring all equipment is maintained
To be successful in the role, you will need:
- Ability to communicate with people and colleagues at all levels
- Ability to lift passengers in accordance with manual handling guidelines
- Full UK driving license
