Days of Working: This is a mobile, multi-site role, requiring flexibility to support operational needs around Trust HQ, London. Cleaning and domestic duties for NHS sites in West London. As a Mobile Cleaner, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our clients, colleagues and visitors across OCS sites. You will deliver high standards of cleaning and hygiene in line with agreed specifications, health & safety requirements and company values.

This role is responsible for carrying out day-to-day cleaning activities, ensuring that all assigned areas are kept to a consistently high standard, while providing a professional and customer-focused service at all times. Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Travel between multiple client sites within an assigned area to deliver cleaning services as required
  • Ensure all sites receive cleaning services in line with agreed specifications and schedules
  • Safely transport and manage cleaning equipment, materials and supplies between locations
  • Carry out deep cleans, cover absences, or respond to short-notice requirements where needed
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any issues or site concerns promptly
  • Adapt to different environments, layouts and client requirements across sites
  • Carry out basic equipment checks and report any faults or shortages
  • Represent OCS professionally when working independently across client locations
  • Comply with all lone working, health & safety and company procedures at all times

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

  • Right to Work in the UK and willingness to undergo a DBS check
  • A full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle (where applicable)
  • Flexibility to travel and work across different sites and shift patterns
  • Previous cleaning experience in a commercial, public sector or similar environment (desirable but not essential)
  • A good understanding of cleaning methods, equipment and materials
  • Awareness of health & safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail and a pride in delivering high standards
  • Reliable, punctual and flexible approach to work
  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures effectively

Desirable:

  • Experience working within Facilities Management (FM) or contracted cleaning services
  • Knowledge of COSHH or safe use of cleaning chemicals (training can be provided)
