The predicted salary is between 35100 - 42900 £ per year.
Working Pattern: You will be working on a 4 on, 4 off rotational shift pattern along with 3 other colleagues, whereby you work in pairs. Shift times are 8pm to 6am, 7 days a week based on the 4 on and 4 off shift pattern. This is a full-time permanent role for the right applicant. Working hours average 33.25 hours per week.
Job Specification: The main purpose of the role is to clean all high usage areas during the downtime at night, including toilets, showers, offices, kitchenettes, etc. within the factory and office areas. This role involves very little machine work as the main machinery is used during the day. However, vacuum cleaners are essential. The job holder will be responsible for working with another colleague and ensuring all facilities are clean and ready for use the following morning when the day shift starts work.
Role responsibilities and duties:
- Ensure that areas are always cleaned to the highest standards.
- Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly.
- Deal with any management requests promptly and courteously.
- Always maintain Health and Safety standards. PPE to be worn at all times.
To succeed in the role, you will need:
- Ability to work quickly and to a tight schedule in a busy environment.
- Be punctual.
- Good attention to detail.
- Able to multitask, be reliable and responsible.
- Ability to carry and move cleaning equipment.
- Be able to communicate effectively with management and H&S team to report any safety issues.
- Basic English level (to be able to have a conversation and understand health and safety processes and procedures).
