About The Role:
Days of Working: Monday to Friday: 0600 - 1600 & occasional on-call requirement for weekends.
The Regional Workforce Planner is a new role being established for a prestigious contract, being His Majesty’s Courts and Tribunals Service. The job holder will have regional responsibility for efficient and effective workforce planning within their dedicated geography. OCS provides a security service for the contract nationally with over 300 locations and the Regional Workforce Planner will play a pivotal role in delivering our commitments to the customer and achieving our Key Performance Indicators.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- The use of relevant Timegate reporting and notifications to schedule your region ensuring full coverage.
- Managing daily blowouts ensuring coverage is provided within KPI requirements.
- Actioning of additional work requests outside of core requirements, arranging appropriate cover.
- Management of annual leave requests within the specified process while accurately recording approved requests.
- Managing the relief and casual workforce to ensure effective utilisation and reduction of agency usage.
- Schedule and cover your regions workforce for mandatory training and license requirements.
- Ensure Timegate is a complete reflection of hours delivered and consistently maintained.
- Liaise with the Workforce Planning & Systems Lead on any base roster updates.
- Create and maintain close relationships with operational colleagues to ensure handover of information.
- Work closely with the relevant support functions in matters relating to the workforce planning.
- Support with any other administrative functions in relation to people and scheduling.
Skills & Previous Experience:
- Experience of Scheduling/Workforce Planning is essential.
- Experienced in the use of Time and Attendance systems, experience of Timegate is advantageous.
- Proficient in the use of IT systems is essential.
- Experience within the Security industry is desirable.

A focused, conscientious, proactive and professional individual who has an eye for detail working in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a large amount of proactive and pressured reactive work and requires an individual that can think on their feet and problem solve while remaining calm. The role will also require staff communication, both written and spoken so will require the job holder to uphold company values in all dialogue.
