About The Role:
Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for accuracy and process improvement? We’re looking for a Management Accountant to support the monthly financial reporting for our Security Key Account. Working closely with the Finance Business Partner, you’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate P&L reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and billing processes, while also supporting operational teams with financial insights. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of financial processes to make a real impact in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Support month-end close activities, including accruals, prepayments, and P&L reporting.
- Collaborate with operational teams to ensure accurate billing and income allocation.
- Assist with audit preparation and maintain clear, accurate working papers.
- Build strong relationships across finance and operational teams to support continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
- AAT Level 4 qualification (or equivalent QBE); actively studying towards further accounting qualifications is desirable.
- Proven experience in a management accounting role, ideally within catering, FM, or high-volume contract environments.
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas; experience working with multi-system data sources.
- Excellent time management and communication skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving discrepancies.
