The predicted salary is between 34200 - 41800 £ per year.
We are looking for an experienced PAT Testing Engineer to carry out electrical safety testing across commercial properties, including offices, schools and retail environments. This is a mobile, target-driven role involving regular travel between client sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out PAT testing safely and accurately.
- Use a fully downloadable PAT testing instrument and maintain electronic records.
- Complete visual inspections and identify unsafe or defective equipment.
- Carry out minor repairs, including plug and fuse replacements.
- Achieve agreed daily productivity targets.
- Submit testing reports and certification promptly.
- Follow all health and safety procedures.
- Participate in overtime and an on-call rota when required.
What We Are Looking For
- City & Guilds 2377-22/23 qualification.
- Previous commercial PAT testing experience.
- Experience using downloadable PAT testing equipment.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Good attention to detail and customer-service skills.
- Willingness to travel and undergo a DBS check.
- ECS or CSCS card is desirable.
Working Hours and Package
- Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30.
- OTE of £32,000–£36,000, subject to achieving agreed productivity targets.
- Additional earnings through paid travel time, overtime and on-call payments.
