Mobile Security Supervisor in London

As a Mobile Security Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing and supporting security operations across multiple sites, ensuring a safe, secure and well-managed environment for clients, colleagues and visitors. Acting as a visible and proactive presence, you will lead by example, support frontline teams and ensure consistent service delivery in line with operational standards.

This is a varied and dynamic role, combining mobile patrols, incident response, team supervision and operational support across South West Greater London at multiple locations. Driving throughout London, Reading and Oxford will be required, depending on operational requirements. You will be responsible for maintaining compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), responding to alarms and incidents, and building strong relationships with both clients and on-site teams.

Working Hours: The role operates on a flexible shift pattern, involving both day and night shifts, including weekends and public holidays where required (7 on 3 off / 7 on 4 off). The successful candidate must be flexible and able to work varying shift patterns to meet operational and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular mobile patrols, including internal and external checks, to ensure site security.
• Act as a key holder, responding to alarm activations and emergency situations.
• Carry out staff welfare checks, supporting and engaging with security teams across sites.
• Ensure all officers adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Assignment Instructions (AIs).
• Investigate incidents and produce detailed, accurate incident reports.
• Provide front-line supervision and support across all assigned security operations.
• Assist with the mobilisation of new sites, including site assessments and client liaison.
• Support the coordination and management of security resources across both manned and unmanned locations.
• Maintain oversight of contract vehicle usage, reporting any issues and ensuring vehicles are kept in good condition.
• Respond to operational requests from clients and management in a timely and professional manner.

Ideal Candidate Criteria:

• Must have Right to Work in the UK and ability to pass BS7858 security clearance.
• A valid SIA licence (essential); CCTV licence desirable or willingness to obtain.
• A full UK driving licence (where required).
• Previous experience in a supervisory or mobile security role.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, support and communicate effectively.
• Good IT skills, including report writing and incident documentation.
• Experience in incident investigation and report writing.
• Strong customer service skills with a professional and proactive approach.
