Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks across electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of site services, equipment, and infrastructure.
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs in a timely manner to minimise operational downtime.
- Assist with minor refurbishment projects, plant installations, and equipment upgrades.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete all required documentation.
- Comply with all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) policies and procedures.
- Identify potential risks, defects, and improvement opportunities, reporting them appropriately.
- Support contractors and specialist service providers when required.
- Build positive working relationships with customers, colleagues, and site stakeholders.
- Attend team briefings and customer meetings as required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to improve service delivery and operational performance.
Person Specification
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering discipline.
- Relevant technical qualifications and certifications desirable.
Experience & Knowledge
- Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance within a facilities management, manufacturing, or engineering environment.
- Good understanding of electrical and mechanical building services.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and safe systems of work.
- Experience using maintenance management systems (desirable).

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Organised with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
