Barista in Kincardine

Key responsibilities:

• Preparing a variety of hot and cold drinks, including specialty coffees, teas, and other beverages.
• Greeting customers, taking orders, answering questions about the menu, and providing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
• Keeping the bar area clean and organised, ensuring all equipment is sanitised and in good working order.
• Monitoring inventory levels, restocking supplies, and ensuring all ingredients are fresh and available.
• Handling cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Ensuring that all drinks meet the company’s quality standards and are presented attractively.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations, including food handling and hygiene standards.
• Working closely with other staff members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience in a similar role is required.
• Hold relevant qualifications, have knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety is a must.
• Demonstrate high standards and be well organised.
• Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills are essential.

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• Must have the Right to Work in the UK.
• Ability to handle different situations and find practical solutions.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Good time-management and organisational abilities.
• While not always mandatory, having a food hygiene certificate (Level 2) is advantageous.
