Role Overview
Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day facilities operations across the campus of a major media company and one of the UK’s largest broadcasters, ensuring the workplace remains safe, functional and compliant with agreed SLA/KPI standards.
What you'll do:
- Carry out regular building and facilities inspections, identifying issues and ensuring actions are resolved.
- Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance activity across the campus.
- Work closely with customers, contractors and supply chain partners to minimise disruption to employees and stakeholders.
- Maintain strong day-to-day relationships with the customer, providing updates and attending relevant meetings.
- Provide reports and feedback to the customer and OCS management team as required.
- Monitor service performance against agreed KPIs and SLAs, taking action where standards fall short.
- Support site audits, compliance requirements, safe working practices and operational procedures.
- Represent OCS in stakeholder meetings and ensure agreed actions are followed through.
- Coordinate workplace services, contractors and supply chain partners across the campus.
- Maintain awareness of upcoming planned maintenance schedules and communicate any potential impact.
- Complete relevant reporting and facilities administration.
- Build positive relationships with customers, colleagues, contractors and other service providers.
- Promote a positive One Team culture across OCS, the customer and wider service partners.
- Support team development through coaching, mentoring, training and succession planning.
- Continually review processes and ways of working to improve operational standards and service delivery.
Professional Requirements
- Previous experience in high-quality facilities management environments, ideally across multiple locations.
- Experience within media or broadcast environments would be advantageous.
- Strong understanding of building operations, compliance and safe working practices.
- Proven experience leading operations within business-critical environments.
- Good knowledge of relevant legislation, statutory requirements and mandatory standards.
- Strong organisational, leadership and people management skills.
- Ability to maintain high standards across safety, quality, customer service and operational performance.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, including producing reports, spreadsheets and presentations.
