Overview
In this role you coordinate UK & Ireland planning and monthly reporting, delivering timely FP&A outputs and insights. You work with senior finance and operations stakeholders to ensure service excellence and KPI adherence. You’ll drive improvements in reporting processes and financial systems, enabling accurate forecasts and informed decision making. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role with a focus on data-driven analysis and value-added financial modelling.

Responsibilities
- Produce monthly UKI P&L, KPI reports, and variance analysis against budget, forecast and prior year
- Draft commentary on monthly results for leadership
- Collate and report exceptional items, underlying trading, risks, opportunities, capex, and quarterly Group/Banks submissions
- Analyze key sales data and validate gains/losses with Commercial Finance
- Ensure timely delivery of projected returns and consolidate UKI P&L for budget/forecast
- Create presentation slides for budget/forecast, Board meetings and UK FD requirements
- Support development of financial systems and process improvements to reduce reporting times
- Identify and implement process and efficiency improvements across the accounting team
- Engage in FP&A project work and ad-hoc duties; complete ONS returns
- Produce and maintain Power BI reports with data integrity and insightful analytics
Key requirements
- Excellent report writing, presentation and financial modelling skills
- Proven experience in a similar role with tight deadlines
- Experience to translate complex scenarios into financial models
- Advanced Excel skills (macros, PivotTables, data manipulation)
- Strong PowerPoint; Power BI experience preferred
- Variance analysis and forecasting experience
- Ability to work with senior management and manage multiple deliverables
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation
- Strong communication with senior stakeholders
