Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Security Controller Workforce Planner to join our passionate and driven Security team based at our Head Office in Ipswich.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Workforce Planning – Shift allocation; Staff attendance monitoring; Sourcing and coordinating cover for vacant shifts and in the case of absence or sickness.
  • Staff Welfare – Conduct regular checks on lone workers in the field.
  • CCTV Monitoring – Observing cameras from across our national sites for intruder detection purposes.
  • Incident Reporting – Liaising with clients regarding on-site incidents, following escalation processes and procedures, as necessary.
  • Data Management – Collating and processing staffing data, as required.

About You:

  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
  • A proven track record in workforce planning or recruitment is highly desirable.
  • Experience working within the Security industry would be highly advantageous – the experience of working in a control room environment would be of particular interest.
  • Agile and effective in responding quickly to situations.
  • Attention to detail, and the ability to work strategically and think one step ahead will be essential.
  • Highly organised, efficient, and able to multi-task; candidates who are adaptable and results-orientated are most likely to thrive in this role.
  • Fully conversant with Microsoft Office, with particular emphasis on Word & Excel.
