Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support, and develop the OCS Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance team, ensuring competence, compliance, and high performance.
- Deliver a cost-effective planned and reactive maintenance programme for site assets and infrastructure.
- Ensure continuity and reliability of critical building services and plant.
- Evaluate customer requirements and develop maintenance or project proposals, including costs and timescales.
- Manage and monitor maintenance and remedial works to ensure safe, timely, and high-quality delivery.
- Provide engineering support for minor refurbishment projects and equipment installations.
- Promote a positive SHEQ culture and work with site teams to identify and drive safety improvements.
- Support departmental budget management, forecasting, and financial reporting activities.
- Build effective relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to maintain service excellence.
- Support business improvement initiatives, change management activities, and service development opportunities.
- Attend customer meetings and provide technical guidance as required.
- NVQ Level 4 in Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience & Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical maintenance disciplines.
- Previous supervisory experience within an engineering or facilities management environment.
- Understanding of planned and reactive maintenance delivery.
- Good awareness of health and safety legislation and compliance requirements.
