This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer with a strong background in commercial gas, HVAC, air conditioning and refrigeration who enjoys a varied mobile role across commercial properties.

The role:

  • Salary up to £50,000
  • Additional earnings of up to £1,500 for supporting gas auditing, with an LCL gas auditing qualification provided
  • Company van and fuel card
  • Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
  • Overtime opportunities
  • Planned and reactive maintenance across commercial client sites
  • Servicing and repairing HVAC, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems
  • Maintaining AHUs, FCUs, pumps, boilers and associated mechanical equipment
  • Refrigeration and air conditioning maintenance
  • Fault-finding, repairs and minor installation works
  • Completing statutory inspections and compliance documentation

Essential requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Heating, Ventilation, Mechanical Engineering, HVAC or equivalent
  • ACS Commercial Gas qualifications, including COCN1, CIGA1, CORT1, ICPN1, CDGA1 and TPCP1/1A, or equivalent
  • F-Gas Category 1 certification
  • Previous facilities management or building services experience
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, AHUs and commercial heating plant
  • Excellent mechanical and HVAC fault-finding skills
  • CSCS card or equivalent
  • Full UK driving licence
