About The Role:
WORKING HOURS - Fridays only. Will include holiday and sickness cover Monday - Thursday.
ROLE OVERVIEW
OCS are looking for two Relief Security Reception Staff members, one for Manchester City Centre and one for Liverpool City Centre to support daily activities on a range of sites. We are seeking a professional and approachable Security Receptionist to provide a welcoming front-of-house service while ensuring the security of staff, visitors, and contractors. This role combines reception duties with security responsibilities, requiring excellent communication, organisation, and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide a friendly and professional front-of-house service to all staff, visitors, and contractors, ensuring accurate sign-in/out procedures in line with site security requirements.
- Deliver proactive support, including booking taxis, meeting rooms, and providing relevant information as required.
- Assist visitors, staff, and contractors with queries and provide additional support when needed.
- Answer phone calls efficiently and perform administrative duties as required.
- Maintain calm, professional, and clear communication at all times.
- Manage access control for staff, visitors, and contractors.
- Monitor CCTV systems and conduct regular security checks.
- Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities and incidents.
- Assist with general enquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Ensure compliance with all security procedures and protocols.
Candidate Requirements
- Right to work in the UK.
- Frontline SIA Licence required.
- Experience in administration, reception, or customer service is desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Additional Requirements
All successful applicants will be required to undergo screening and vetting in line with BS7858 standards.
