We are recruiting for a Casual Minibus Driver to be based at East Midlands Airport. You will be transporting flight crew to and from the base and aircraft. You DO NOT NEED A PVC license for this position and hours within business needs so full flexibility is required. If you passed your car test before January 1, 1997, you may already have this entitlement. This is a casual position.
You will be working 12-hour shifts, on a casual basis, both days and nights, so please consider this before you apply. There would be guaranteed shifts every month.
- Day shift: Start 5.00am - Finish 17.00pm
- Night shift: Start 17.00pm - Finish 05.00am (typical shifts)
Main Duties:
- Safely transporting flight crew to and from the base and aircraft.
- Loading crew bags into the vehicle.
- Making sure the vehicles are in good working condition and kept clean.
- Completing daily vehicle checks and making records accordingly.
What you'll need:
- Full UK/EU driving licence
- 5 year checkable work history, to obtain an airside pass
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
- Must have Right to Work in the UK
- You will be required to pass pre-employment screening, including 5 years of employee reference checking
- Valid UK Drivers Licence held for a minimum of 3 years
- Ability to communicate with people and colleagues at all levels
- Previous experience within driving with an airport is desirable
