The predicted salary is between 31500 - 38500 £ per year.

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, but will most likely work a few weekends, as per business needs.

The Landscape Team Leader will oversee a team of arborists and landscapers, driving improvements in guest perception through high-quality landscaping and planting schemes. This role focuses on maintaining and enhancing the park’s visual appeal, ensuring safety and compliance, and delivering exceptional standards in a high-pressure, high-footfall environment. The position also requires expertise in rope work and reactive tree maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of arborists and landscapers to deliver outstanding results. Plan and allocate daily tasks, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to schedules.
  • Guest Experience & Standards: Develop and implement planting schemes that enhance the park’s aesthetics and guest experience. Monitor and maintain landscaping standards across all areas of the resort. Promote environmentally sustainable practices in landscaping.
  • Tree & Landscape Maintenance/Compliance: Oversee reactive tree maintenance, including rope access work and emergency interventions. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and tree preservation requirements. Create and implement planned preventative maintenance tasks to maintain standards across the resort.
  • Operational Excellence: Manage landscaping operations in a high-footfall environment, minimising disruption to guests. Coordinate with other departments to support events and seasonal displays. Meet with the client to discuss their landscaping needs and preferences, providing advice and suggestions.
  • Health & Safety: Promote a strong safety culture within the team, ensuring all work is carried out in line with regulations. Conduct risk assessments and maintain accurate records of work completed.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience managing landscaping and arborist teams in high-pressure environments.
  • Strong knowledge of planting schemes, horticulture, and tree maintenance practices.
  • Competence in rope work and reactive tree maintenance.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
