The predicted salary is between 40500 - 49500 Β£ per year.

Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all work carried out is of high quality and meets the required legislative levels.
- Provide timely communication to Technical Services Team Leader with regard to operational issues, ensuring the earliest possible resolution and appropriate support where required.
- Plan activity to ensure projects undertaken are delivered on time.
- Assist in aspects of building maintenance to ensure high standards of product availability, operational presentation and customer satisfaction.
- Anticipate and focus on the needs of customers as a priority (both internal and external) and act to ensure they are met.
- Operate mechanical plant including but not limited to diggers, cherry pickers, Genie lift, chainsaws and petrol saws.
- Ensure required documentation is completed in line with company guidelines (e.g. job sheet sign off).
- Maximise ride capacity and throughput, continually striving to exceed targets in line with customer expectations.
- Pro-actively support other areas of the Technical Services department.
- Identify opportunities to reduce future maintenance costs through choice of working methods or materials/equipment.
- Ensure all resources are used efficiently in order to minimise costs.
- Perform risk assessments for all activities.
- Communicate to other team members, guests and other areas of the business with a positive style.
- Attend team briefings actively contributing to any discussions.
Person Specification:
- Experience within a relevant building/groundwork environment (e.g. paving, tarmacing, fencing, bricklaying and drainage works).
- Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures specific to the industry preferable.
- City & Guilds or NVQ level 2/3 within the building trade or qualified through experience (Desirable).
- Appropriate plant machinery licences (e.g. Genie, cherry picker, digger etc.) (Desirable).
- Ability to work using own initiative displaying decision making skills without direct supervision.
- Excellent communication skills.
Please note: This role will involve working mainly outdoors in all weather conditions throughout the year and may involve working at heights.
