About The Role:

Please note: This is a seasonal fixed term contract position.
The Security Controller plays a vital supporting role in maintaining a safe and secure environment at the Resort by assisting the Security and Incident Manager in overseeing daily safety operations and emergency response strategies. This position is responsible for ensuring that safety systems and protocols are operational, incidents are documented and managed effectively, and communication during emergencies is coordinated seamlessly. The controller will work closely with the emergency response teams, monitoring safety systems, supporting incident management, and ensuring the readiness of safety resources.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee the real-time monitoring of incidents, ensuring accurate and timely documentation within incident management systems.
- Assist the Security and Incident Manager in implementing and monitoring emergency protocols, particularly during evacuations, guest incidents, and crisis management.
- Support the coordination and deployment of resources during emergencies, ensuring rapid response and efficient use of personnel and equipment.
- Monitor the operational readiness of safety systems, including CCTV and public address systems, ensuring they are fully functional during critical situations.
- Ensure that communication between teams during emergencies is clear and effective, including liaising between departments like Park Operations, Accommodation, and Facilities.
- Support the continuous improvement of emergency protocols, suggesting new approaches to enhance response time and effectiveness.
