About The Role:
We are seeking a highly organised and motivated individual to join our team as a Seasonal Night Security & CCTV Officer. This is a seasonal contract from Mid-March until Mid-November at Thorpe Park! This is a fantastic opportunity to join our highly trained, professional security team within a large Venue. You will be responsible for the protection, security and safety of visitors and the building. This role is working night shifts.
As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure that there is clear, accurate communication and transmission of all relevant information.
- Ensure the correct escalation of incidents is followed in line with the incident escalation process; running logs are maintained in the Operators running logs.
- Effectively deploy security resources to deal with all incidents and matters arising.
- Proactive operation of the CCTV System; conducting daily site activity risk assessments, maintaining accurate CCTV records.
- Operation of the fire alarm system, PA system, VMS, Intruder/Panic Alarms, BMS, ANPR, radio and phone systems.
- Implementation of the emergency procedures in accordance with the Incident and Emergency Plan.
- Thoroughly, accurately, and professionally documents complaints, incidents involving possible criminal activity and other daily activities.
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
- Must have Right to Work in the UK
- SIA Door Supervisor Licence is essential
- CCTV Licence is essential
- Must be able to work night shifts
- ACT Awareness SCaN for CCTV Operators
- Problem Solver
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
