About The Role:

  • Days of Working: Core hours are Monday to Friday - 15:00pm to 21:00pm. Covering absences from early hours of the day to late hours of the day. Over time hours expected through the week including being on call in rotating rota over the weekend.
  • Early shifts

  • Weekend shifts (enhanced pay for overtime)

Additional Info:

  • Guaranteed minimum 30 hours per week.
  • Pool van provided, must have a driving licence.
  • Travel time is paid for.
  • Due to the nature of the role, you could be covering shifts across Cambridge, Luton, Milton Keynes, Ely.
  • Flexibility and availability during core hours is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sweep/Vacuum all floor areas as required according to the composition of the floor.
  • Damp wipe doors, shelves, seating, kiosks, handrails, phones & fire hydrants and collect waste, and empty boxes when requested.
  • Responsible for keeping all areas clean and litter-free at all times.
  • Responsible for keeping public toilets and circulation areas clean, tidy & free from litter at all times including lifts and stairs.
  • Ensuring all spillages are dealt with immediately.

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

  • Must have Right to Work in the UK.
  • An standard DBS will be completed for the successful candidate.
  • UK Driving Licence.
  • Desirable to have experience in cleaning or be willing to learn.
  • Desirable to have an understanding of COSHH and working in similar environments.
  • An understanding of following H&S rules and its importance.
