The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

Working Pattern: Rolling Roster Monday to Sunday with 2 days off every week. 7am earliest start and 7pm latest finish. 37.5 hours per week.

As Train Cleaning Supervisor working across both Birmingham New Street & Wolverhampton Station you will ensure that cleaning staff perform their duties efficiently, maintain high cleanliness standards, and contribute to a safe and hygienic environment. Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Supervising a small team of train cleaning operatives
  • Conducting cleaning audits on a nightly basis to ensure that standards are maintained.
  • Ensuring the internal of trains are cleaned to the required specification, in accordance with Health and Safety compliance.
  • Carrying out delegated cleaning tasks in accordance with agreed procedures which includes litter picking, removing unauthorised stickers, cleaning and replenishing toilets, and ensuring all surfaces are free from any obvious marks, staining & smearing.

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

  • You must have Right to Work in the UK
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • You will be able to work to deadlines and prioritise as well as be flexible with working hours and days.
  • You will have excellent communication skills.
  • Transport to travel between the two sites.
  • Complete and pass track safety course before commencing employment.
  • Willing to complete Drug and Alcohol test before each shift.
