Overview

In this role you provide strategic technical leadership and governance across the account, advising the Strategic Account Director on compliance matters. You will develop and implement programs, run audits, monitor regulatory changes, and guide teams on risk, training, and continuous improvement. The role also covers energy and sustainability deliverables and cross-functional collaboration to uphold high standards. This is a hybrid position with national travel, offering a pathway to shape compliance in a large FM environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering leadership to support the Account Director
  • Develop and implement compliance programs
  • Conduct audits and inspections
  • Prepare compliance updates
  • Monitor regulatory changes
  • Provide guidance and training on compliance
  • Report and document compliance activities
  • Investigate non-compliance issues
  • Manage risk and drive continuous improvement
  • Interface with customers and regulators
  • Deliver energy and sustainability outcomes

Key requirements

  • Leadership experience in facilities management / hard services
  • Extensive knowledge of technical regulations, standards and best practices
  • Experience developing, implementing and managing compliance programs
  • Proven track record in audits and assessments for regulatory and company standards
  • Experience implementing a risk management system
  • Strong multi-discipline technical background with ability to apply standards
  • Track record of continuous improvement in compliance processes and systems
  • HNC/HND-Level qualification in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Ability to obtain and maintain national security clearance
  • Extensive experience in compliance-led FM services including hard services
  • Leadership and ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Collaboration across departments
