About The Role:
Your main aim will be to carry out a range of cleaning & waste management activities including:
- Putting bins out for collection and bringing them back in after collection (includes domestic wheelie bins, commercial euro bins and recycling bins).
- Levelling of bins & removal of excess waste and contaminated waste.
- Removal of bulky waste items e.g. furniture, large electrical items (fridge/freezers etc).
- High level cleaning using step ladder.
- Deep cleaning including use of cleaning equipment e.g. carpet cleaner, floor scrubber, steam cleaner & power washer.
- Cleaning of bodily fluids e.g. blood, vomit, urine, faeces.
You will also:
- Ensure that areas are always cleaned to the highest standards.
- Always maintain Health and Safety standards.
- Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored correctly.
- Deal with any customer requests promptly and courteously.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Good attention to detail & initiative to plan your workload, use your time effectively and problem solving.
- IT literacy – use of email and job allocation software.
- To be reliable and responsible with a flexible approach to work.
- Be able to work as part of a team or alone depending on the tasks required.
- Full driving licence.
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
- Must have Right to Work in the UK.
- Experience in industrial cleaning, including floor maintenance.
- Full valid driving license.
- Excellent English and interpersonal skills.
