As a Security Officer, you will be the first line of support for employees and visitors to the site, providing a professional and friendly service. You will be responsible for monitoring fire, security, and building systems, ensuring that all assigned tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner, and in compliance with relevant legislation.
Responsibilities:
- Recording of vehicles, visitors and contractors as well as all site activities maintaining accurate records and a site daily occurrence record.
- Monitor site visually and via CCTV and be fully conversant with the CCTV and site electronic security systems.
- Responding to alerts and alarms as required.
- Completing regular site patrols and inspections of client's premises in accordance with the assignment instructions.
- Show a professional security presence throughout the site.
- Fulfil health and safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the company's Health & Safety policy and Health & Safety Management plans.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- You must have the right to work in the UK.
- You will be required to undergo screening and vetting (BS7858).
- Reliability and Punctuality.
- Professional manner and appearance.
- High levels of vigilance.
- Confident use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and CCTV systems.
- Full driving license is essential.
