You’ll be managing the delivery of in house and outsourced services on high profile contracts within the Southern Region (Including Wales). You will be required to provide the focus, direction and leadership required to ensure that soft services are delivered to the highest of standards and in line with our client’s specifications. The service delivery includes providing focus, direction and leadership to ensure that the sites meet or exceeds the service quality expectations of our customer.

You will be working in close union with a sub-ordinate team of managers and team leaders, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing the respective contract site services, ensuring recruitment, training and administration requirements are maintained to the required standard.

Ensure regular and good communications are maintained with the employees. Ensuring regular job chats, site Quality Safety Visits and toolbox talks are completed with the staff. Ensuring all documentation is correctly filed and up-to-date to meet with all auditing process not least OCS Group accreditations and Licenses.

To take ownership of the management of the sites and the staff performances in the absence of a Contract Manager.

This is a regional based roll requiring a flexible basis of approach to work and ability to travel with overnight stays., * To adhere to all company policies and procedures.

  • To attend training sessions and company briefings when required.

  • Holds and maintains a full UK driving license. With ability to travel to multiple sites.

  • Perform audits/ management across all contract sites are actioned.

  • To support the wider business when appropriately requested by the Area Director.

  • Flexible in the working approach to ensure service excellence.

  • Ensure the smooth running of the operations of sites.

  • Produce high quality documents when required

  • Written reports in good clear understandable English

  • Prompt response and resolutions to client requests and complaints.

  • Maintain all H&S to meet with OCS HSQE objectives

  • To comply with all health and safety regulations and to ensure that any incidents or concerns are reported to the line manager, safety audits are undertaken.

  • Produce accurate monthly reports in agreed client format

  • Ensure OCS meet with all trust contractual obligations

  • Be flexible to meet with the needs of the business and complete all reasonable requests and tasks

  • Ability to travel across the geographical region with overnight stays.

  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills

  • Operational knowledge of budgets and P&L accounts.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills (communication, presentation, persuasion and motivation)

  • Proven experience of managing outsourced commercial soft FM contract

  • Excellent organisational skills

  • Lateral thinker (innovation)

  • Knowledge of NHS 2021 Cleaning standards

  • Food Safety Level 3 (Level 4 Desired)

  • Computer literate – Microsoft packages including Excel, Power BI and the use of people management software

  • IOSH

  • NEC4 contracts (Desired)

  • Social values knowledge (Desired)

  • IWFM Membership (Desired)

  • Multi-Site management experience (Desired)

  • Educated to degree level (Desirable)
