Our client is a global hedge fund with over $5 billion in assets under management and offices in London and New York. They are looking to hire a Trading Assistant into their London team as the business continues to grow.
This is a traditional Trading Assistant role and sits separately from the Operations team. The ideal candidate will have several years of experience within a Trading Assistant, Trade Support or Sales Support role at a hedge fund or investment bank, with strong Rates experience preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Booking trades into risk systems
- Calculating NPVs for unwinds and novations
- Supporting PMs and Traders with ad hoc requests across positions, market data, risk management and FX rolls
- Providing execution support where required
Qualifications:
The firm is looking for candidates with a strong academic background and experience at reputable financial institutions
