OCR Alpha is partnered with a growing alternative credit manager in London to hire an Operations Associate into a broad operations role. The hire has been driven by growth across the platform and offers exposure across both the firm’s CLO and wider fixed income business, making it a strong opportunity for someone looking to build a well-rounded career within buy-side operations.
The role will cover a broad range of responsibilities across day-to-day operations, including cash reconciliations, NAV oversight, trade workflows and wider fund controls, whilst also supporting the continued development of the firm’s operating infrastructure. This is not a narrow product specialist seat, but rather a well-rounded role suited to someone who wants exposure across loans, bonds, CLOs and broader fixed income operations as well as working closely with the trading desk.
The role also offers exposure to an internally developed technology environment, which should appeal to candidates with an interest in systems, data and process improvement.
Candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant operations experience and a strong core grounding in investment or fund operations. The team is open to a range of backgrounds, including hedge funds, asset managers, fund administrators and broader investment operations environments, provided the individual is keen to broaden their experience further.
