OCR Alpha is currently looking for a bright graduate, ideally with a financial-related university degree, to join our Portfolio Management team. You will support our Fixed Income desk and will be responsible for sourcing and researching talent for various mandates within the space. This is a unique opportunity for someone ambitious, organised, and ready to develop quickly in a growing business. There is a clearly defined pathway into a consultant role for the right candidate. We are a leading and forward-thinking Hedge Fund specialist recruitment firm based in London, operating globally with a major focus on the London and New York markets. Key Responsibilities
- Researching and mapping out junior talent across the sell-side and buy-side.
- Conducting initial screening calls and selling opportunities across our client base, with the help of one of our senior consultants.
- Building out talent maps for internal use.
- Booking interviews and conducting interview preparation.
- Attending client meetings alongside a senior consultant.
- Screening and gathering market intel from various online vendors for the senior team to utilise.
Qualifications and Skills
- Graduate with a finance or finance-related degree from a top-level university.
- Previous experience in Recruitment β Resourcing, or Sales Support is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multifaceted role.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proactive and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and develop within the role.
