Head of Fund Accounting, Global Macro Hedge Fund

OCR Alpha has been exclusively retained by a leading global macro investment manager, with over $15bn in AUM, to appoint a Head of Fund Accounting for its London office.

Having experienced significant growth in recent years, the firm has evolved into a large, sophisticated investment platform with an increasingly complex global operation. As part of its continued development, the business is looking to appoint a senior Finance leader to take full ownership of its Fund Accounting function.

This is a high-profile appointment with considerable visibility across the business. The successful individual will lead an established team, drive improvements across existing processes and controls, and play a central role in shaping the future of the Fund Accounting function.

Beyond the day-to-day oversight, there is a genuine opportunity to influence how the wider Finance infrastructure develops, working closely with senior leadership as the business continues to grow.

Requirements:

• Approximately 15 years' experience in Fund Accounting, ideally within a global hedge fund or alternative investment manager.
• Strong product knowledge across fixed income and global macro strategies.
• Buy-side experience is essential.
• Proven experience leading, developing and managing sizeable Fund Accounting teams.
• Strong technical expertise, alongside the ability to drive improvements across processes, controls and infrastructure.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the credibility to engage and influence at senior leadership level.
