OCR Alpha are currently partnering with an ambitious and growing global macro/fixed income hedge fund who have more than $5bn AuM to assist in their hire of a Senior Fund Accountant/Fund Controller into their team in London.
This role will work closely with their CFO on a broad mandate. This role will be entirely responsible for the fund accounting work within the team, entrusted to improve and redesign processes as you see fit. There is also opportunity to work on the corporate accounting oversight work therefore giving the unique chance to cover both sides of the accounting within a fund, a crucial step towards a longer term CFO seat.
They have a down to earth culture, low turnover and exciting growth plans with consistently strong investment returns in recent years. They are ideally looking for a candidate who is a qualified accountant, with at least 4 years of buy-side experience on the fund accounting side.
