About the Role – We are looking for an experienced Compliance Manager to join on a permanent basis. In this role, you will support the Chief Compliance Officer and broader compliance team in providing compliance advice to the business and ensuring the firm’s compliance with internal and external regulatory policies, particularly in market abuse regulation and best execution policies. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of regulatory frameworks in the hedge fund and asset management sectors.
Responsibilities –
- Front office compliance advisory: Provide advice to traders and act as key point of contact across a wide range of asset classes, including but not limited to equities, fixed income, and derivatives. This will also include supporting the front office in new product and strategy development.
- Trade surveillance and best execution monitoring
- Regulatory compliance and engagement
- Position monitoring
- Regulatory reporting
- Training and development
- Cross-functional collaboration
Qualifications – At least 5+ years of experience in a business facing compliance function at a hedge fund, prop trading house, or possibly an investment bank (trading floor advisory)
Required Skills – Strong regulatory knowledge, particularly with UK and US regulators
Preferred Skills – Trade surveillance experience advantageous (market abuse and best execution monitoring)
Pay range and compensation package – £100,000 to 130,000 base salary
