Job Description

Purpose of the job

The successful candidate will report into the Manager of Investor Services. The incumbent will work collaboratively and pro-actively within the established Global Funds team in Belfast. The Company intends to provide the full range of fund administration and accounting services, predominately to closed ended and limited liquidity fund structures.

Main responsibilities

  • Be an integral part of the Investor Services Team coordinating client service, taking responsibility for assigned deadlines and the overall quality of deliverables to support Ocorian’s ever-growing and diversified international client base.
  • Deliver high quality services to Ocorian’s clients for the full life cycle of operations, from take-on, to business-as-usual and on to termination.
  • Assist with ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and with the relevant short, medium and long-term goals, objectives and values of the organisation.
  • To support the administration of a portfolio of Fund structures and other entities to ensure all investor services related activities fall within the guidelines/stipulations of the statutory or governing documents.
  • Ensure that Ocorian policy and procedures are adhered to.

Tasks (what does the role entail on a day-to-day basis)

  • Assist with the day to day delivery of the operational and investor servicing function.
  • Assist in the completion of investor onboarding as part of the wider client onboarding and transition process.
  • To liaise with the investment advisor, fund directors, accountants, bankers and other related entities as required in order to administer the funds and to ensure the smooth day to day operation of the funds
  • To deal with all in-coming investor queries in an effective and timely manner as well as other general administration tasks as necessary
  • To prepare call / distribution notices, liaise with the client for any updates and subsequently release to investors
  • To monitor cash receipts for drawdowns in line with Cash Monitoring policy
  • To maintain investor data and registers to a high standard of accuracy
  • To assist with internal, Investor Services related projects as required
  • To assist with the population of FATCA CRS reporting templates
  • Work as an effective team member with other internal providers to meet our key deliverables.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience of working within the Fund Administration sector, with a focus on private equity and closed ended fund structures.
  • A good working knowledge of AML and FATCA/CRS regulations.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Team Player.
  • Good organisation skills.
  • Flexible approach and attitude to work.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • A good understanding of Corporate Governance.
  • Microsoft Office skills with focus on Excel skills.
